Dr. Rose is thrilled to be back in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas! She practiced here under her maiden name of Dr. Finley from 1993 - 2000. The new location on Higdon Ferry Rd. is dedicated to providing the highest quality vision care to children and adults in a friendly, comfortable and professional atmosphere.

In addition to comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fitting Dr. Rose also does Neuro-Developmental (or Behavioral) Optometry. This type of optometrist is trained to help patients who need more than just glasses or contacts.

Dr. Rose can develop a vision therapy program for patients who are having visual processing problems. These patients range from children with reading comprehension problems to persons needing visual rehabilitation while recovering from a Traumatic or Acquired Brain Injury.

A list of common vision problems seen even in a person with 20/20 acuity:
Burning eyes
Nausea after reading
Blurred print
Double vision
Short attention span
These are symptoms of a visual processing problem that may need to be addressed differently than with a regular pair of spectacles.
This can mean therapeutic lenses and/or vision therapy.

Dr. Rose is a member of the following organizations:

College of Optometrists in Vision Development

Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association
